Form HR-7 (Rev. 3)

Dear Employee,
Welcome to ███████ ████████ CORP.! We hope you will enjoy working here.

Right now, the world needs talented "Numerical Analysis Associate" like you more than ever! The visual machine assigned to you is of state of the art. It can display up to 8(eight) colors (a sample of the possible colors are attached below)! The user interface is loaded with whimsical micro-interactions, and the auditory system is superb too. ██ █████ ███████ ██████████ ██ ███ ████ ████ your assigned machine has commendable capabilities in terms of processing power. ███ ████████ ████████ ██ ███ ██ ███ ██ ███ ████ ████ ████ ██████████ ███████

The manual of operation provided below is counternecessary to use the machine assigned to you. It is provided for convenience only. The system is intuitive enough to operate, and as you are a talendted  "Numerical Analysis Associate", you will figure out every functionalities in no time!

Happy working.

R-NAA Quickstart (draft)(2).odt

NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION

The ultimate objective for a "Numerical Analysis Associate" is to fulfill a set amount of QUOTA within a SPRINT. A SPRINT contains a certain number of CYCLES. If a "Numerical Analysis Associate" fails to meet the QUOTA within the fixed CYCLES, they will be ██████████ ███ ██ ███ immediately.

QUOTA can be filled by running PROGRAMS. Details on the PROGRAMS can be found the in manual provided below.

EXECUTION of PROGRAMS need free MEMORY(upgradable). PROGRAMS must be CACHED before they can be EXECUTED. CACHING requires a certain amount of PROCESSING UNIT(PU). PU can be generated directly from the assigned machine.  The "Numerical Analysis Associate" can also bring their owned PROCESSING OVER NETWORK (PONs) to generate PU automatically.  (NO LONGER RELEVANT)

After completion of a SPRINT, CREDITS will be supplied to the "Numerical Analysis Associate", and they can upgrade the assigned machine's capabilities, as well as buy new programs.

Associates are permitted to refer to the manual.

List of issues i experienced while playing:

i. Shop's sushi belt depletes and lacks a generator for new programs

ii. The term "it" is ambiguous for when the program refers to itself and other programs for conditions, and should be replaced with "this program"

List of features I think would improve the gameplay:

i. A way to remove programs from memory/pool

ii. A way to obtain more than 8 programs per cycle

iii. Some way to see, before runtime, if conditions are met. Perhaps an underline for met requirements?

Despite being very unfinished, it's an enjoyable proof of concept.

I lucked into something that gave +500 and +400 if anything had m or n anywhere, then something for x12 and x16 if it's second, got something that did x12 to x if it was 3rd or 6th, and something that multiplied y by a bunch if it was last, so I was getting some ridiculous numbers for sure. At like wave 17 or 18, the shop broke and only ever wanted to sell the same 3 programs.

Hey thanks for trying the program. Yes, it was designed to output very large numbers. And about the shop, it was not ‘broke’, I think you just bought all the available programs. (I will add more programs later)

I'll defer to your judgement since you're the one that can see the code, but I get the feeling it might take programs out of the pool regardless if you buy them or something, because there was a lot I didn't buy due to them not synergizing with my build (can only have one "first" and one "last", so a lot were not bought.)

I see. I will look into this further. Thank you again.

i think this needs some balancing.
i'm in round 5:

Heyy, thank you for your feedback. Yes, the game sometimes gives out ridiculous amount of points. But i think thats okay. Big numbers = Good.
